I am thinking that is the question that baseball fans in Philly as well as most east-coast baseball media, when they think of the Colorado Rockies.
The Kids from Blake Street have reeled off the following accomplishments...
- Won 13 of 14 games (including sweeps in San Diego and LA) to finish the season in a tie with San Diego for the National League Wild Card spot.
- Came from 2 runs down in the bottom of the 13th to beat the Padres in the tie-breaker game.
- Swept the Philadelphia Phillies to advance to the NL Championship Series against Arizona.
This is the stuff of wild dreams. I have never, nor, probably will i ever, have this much fun following a baseball pennant run.
